How EventHouseLA collects, uses and protects your information — including the text messages we send about your bookings.

Your name, email, mobile number and company; the event, dates, guest and staff counts and the estates you are considering; and payment records, which Stripe handles — we never see or store your card number. We also see which of your own pages you have opened, so we know a proposal has been read.
We use it to find and hold properties for you, arrange site visits, prepare agreements and invoices, and keep you and the property's manager informed while a booking is arranged. Nothing else, and we never sell it.
We text property managers, owners and clients about bookings — to tell a manager a client has requested a site visit at a house they manage, or to tell a client their visit is confirmed. You give us your mobile number for this when you list a property with us or request a site visit, and we tell you then that we will text you.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with the subcontractors who help us run the service — such as our text messaging provider — is permitted, and they may use it only to deliver that service. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone else.
Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or write to villas@eventhouse.la. Message frequency varies with your bookings, and message and data rates may apply. The full SMS terms are in our Terms of Service.
Only those needed to arrange your booking: the manager or owner of a property you are considering, and the services that run this business — Stripe for payments, Twilio for text messages, and our email provider. Each sees only its own part, and none of them get your information for their own marketing.
Booking and payment records for seven years, enquiries that went nowhere for two. Ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do it. Stop texts with STOP; stop emails with the unsubscribe link on any email.
The site runs over an encrypted connection, private pages sit behind an access code, and street addresses are shown only to a client who has been given them. Payments never touch our servers. If this policy changes, the new version is posted here.
